Not bad. Not bad at all. Great even. Been a while since I read a novel that keeps such consistency in the quality of writing. I obviously found some parts better than others but no downright bad parts, no "filler" aiming to fill word count. What incredible world building. This novel is a tapestry of interwoven little actions, a succession of steps and struggles toward a goal with countless goated side characters with a ton of well done development. No disappointment with the ending too, which is becoming a rarity nowadays. Author has taken hold of the "reincarnated as the villain in a video game" trope and shown how good it could be when mastered. This Duck thank you author for this masterpiece of literature.

What an incredible novel, the dialogue for me is practically the strongest point of the work, the characters talk in a mature and intelligent way, none of that teenage angst that perpetuates other works of the genre, not only that, when something happens in which the characters are in disagreement, they go straight to the point and talk about it, it's such a breath of fresh air. There is a lot of politics in the book, which may end up alienating part of the public, but if you give it a chance, I promise you won't regret it.

Almost fifty chapters in and I'm really enjoying the story so far. The dialogue of characters, sentence structure, story telling, everything is really good in my eyes. As apposed to the hundreds of light novels I have read throughout the years. I recommend giving this story a try, at the moment it's 100+ in the ratings chart but I believe it should be in the top 10~20. Of course my thoughts could change since I'm not that far into the story but that remains to be seen.

It is honestly a great read. This story deals with many things in a wonderful way: politics, characters, and romance to my surprise. I highly recommend reading this work if you like things that are well constructed with a slow pace in which each chapter manages to entertain you and at the same time build the pieces for later. Nothing in this world is perfect, but it is very good.

If you wanna read a novel with good writing then read this. The writing is beautiful, the characters have actual depth, and the work building is interesting to say the least. I mean one of the characters is an 8ft viking elf with vampirism. The plot is also good although pretty simple and straightforward the beautiful writing carries all the way making it very immersive. Seriously this novel is a breath of fresh air from all the recycled trash we keep getting this days.

I have read more than 60 chapters so far and I love it! The writing style is awesome, characters coherent, plot seems good enough as well. I hope it gets the acknowledgement it deserves.

Very good book, great Mac and characters, incredibly underrated book that does fantastically. I would go inter deeper detail but it’s been a while since I’ve read it. I stooped because I really disliked one part, when they spent like 40 chapters solving an impossible problem, just for them to succeed and get hit with basically the same problem right after. The build up and relief of getting though that arc, only for the copy cat one to hit you in the face, the characters were acting the exact same way as the start of the 40 chapters. Any life or intelligence the characters had seemed to disappear in that moment. I might continue reading if someone would shed light on the chapters after 415 to get me reinvested

Reviewed on Chapter 635 - Probably my favorite novel on the whole site, maybe just behind Mother of Learning. I absolutely adored this entire novel. Some simple stuff first: The chapters are long, which is always a nice plus. The concept is very realized, but the story isn't stuck to it. The MC is very dependent on being from another world for a long time, but as both himself and the story grows, he's slowly able to grow into himself. The emotions are just amazing. The sadness, joy, and hype I felt at so many moments were just awesome to experience, especially since so many trash novels just redo the same ideas over and over again. The side characters. Although some characters have been a bit tossed to the wayside as the main roster gets more and more powerful, it's fair to say there is ALOT of character growth from people outside just the MC. I can't name names, but there's so many people(and stakes :0) that I didn't expect to grow at all. The author does a great job in making relationships feel organic and slow without it being poorly written. Crazy is a common theme for a lot of characters, but each characters crazy is unique and makes you want to explore them more. I could write forever on this section, but I'll summarize by saying that complex and secretive characters subvert expectations and become just normal people with basic desire, while the opposite happens across the world. The writing style is fun. Not sure if it's good or bad, but I certainly enjoyed it. It's very different from the blandness I find from the other writers, though if you don't like wordiness and really fleshing out every single aspect of a scene, it might not be the easiest to read(still do). The world-building is great. Starts off small and builds really nicely. My only gripe is there are still some areas I would've like to see get explored more that were kinda just dusted away, but if the world gets too big it can be hard to make a cohesive plot so I understand. My main con is that the beginning is a bit slow. I liked it, but since I'm reviewing it, I'll try and be impartial. It's a lot of the MC twisting words and trying to become OP through the use of his game knowledge. It was still unique in that he gets off story really quickly, but I've read other reviews and understand if that might be an issue. I'd say read till 150ish and if you still don't enjoy it, drop it. All in all, a really really really good novel. I can't say that enough. GO READ IT

- Reviewed on CH288 - Gods - or was it God? Nevermind; are as important to the story as are the characters. The grammatical precision I mean - singular, plural - not the literal presence of Gods. This story revolves around 'Argrave, ' who has reincarnated into a world he is thoroughly well versed with. He used to write detailed wiki-articles about a game called "Heroes of Berendar" and now is placed in the body of a minor character. The original character had many traits that made him unpopular as a character, plus he wasn't even a payable one. Hence, when he found himself in this character, Argrave's, body, he decided he has to play his part in averting and/or subjugating the calamity known as "Gerechtigkeit. " The story is as much as a adventure and action as much it is about lore and character development. The characters are well written and the plot is interesting, mainly because the plots are not totally dependent on Argrave himself, but flow independent of him. The story is fun and keeps the reader interested by sheer progression and how it all culminates into the 'plan' Argrave has for the development of the plot. It is nice to see vulnerable characters who live and breathe their own differences and make the plot move in directions not totally anticipated by the MC. There is plenty of character development, shifting of alliances, betrayals and reconciliations to make sure the reader is reading it in its entirety and not just skimming through the pages. Until now, I've only found two chapters that've bored me enough to skim through them, yet I feel tempted to go back and read them because I might have missed something enlightening. I would've even, if it weren't for the fact that the next, newer chapter is even more so. This makes me believe I'll come back to this book once I've reached the latest in the release. The nicest thing about this novel is that it has sufficiently congruent writing, coupled with intriguing philosophy and darker tones contrasting with the colourful scenery the writer forces the reader to imagine. I couldn't complain about the very, literally very minute spelling errors. Perhaps I am a 'lil illiterate to properly perceive the writing to feel they are errors. The writing is just that good. All in all, worth a second or even a third read.

Just caught all the way up, and the novel is really good. It's not quite as focused as it was in the beginning, but there remains a lot of unknowns and intrigue to keep things interesting. World building is good, characters are dynamic and changing, and the plot is solid. The biggest unique sell of the novel is the process of the MC settling into the new world psychologically. He doesn't just immediately accept it as real, but he also doesn't run around as if it's all a game. This is easily one of the best novels you'll find on this website.
