I love this novel. . I have reread this so many times. . Love the power couple. . and their cute babies. I like how the author actually showed them growing old together and next generation starting their story.

This is a story I would definitely recommend to read! Although reading it kinda got tiring towards the end as it makes you wonder why people keep on hating and finding faults in the Fl and just that there was a lot going on. It is a story that shows you the ups and downs of life and has a lot of moral lessons to be taken from. The story was written in a more realistic way as compared to similar novels that I've read. It tackled a lot of issues in family, love, and interpersonal relationships. I especially like how this story did not just define relationship and love in one mold, but rather shown its various forms through the side/supporting character's relationships. I think that the main thing I gathered from this is how it was never too late to pick yourself up again and that if you ever decide to do anything, do it with all your heart so you will have no regrets. Not doing anything because you are afraid of something that hasn't happened yet is probably one of the worst decisions one can make. So yeah, overall I love this story!! ﾟ+. ヽ(≧▽≦)ﾉ. +ﾟ

This is the definition of perfection!!!! This is going to be my third time reading this book. Cheers to the author. Despite the twists and turns, the misunderstandings and schemes, this book is really sweet and it is really recommended. I didn't even need to think b4 writing this review.

Finished reading this novel and this is definitely one of my favorites! I love the characters and their development. The face-slapping is also very satisfying. I especially love the story revolving their kids! Definitely give this novel a try!

One of my favorite chinese webnovels! Both FL and ML have great and interesting back stories. Sometimes, it'll get repetitive, but still was a great read.

I know this one from the manhwa and then I start to read it. It's really great, I re-read it. Love the relationship between the FL and ML. The part about the children was maybe too much but I also like to know what happened to them and how they grew up.

It's a great story to be completely honest and there isn't much to nitpick by the time you finish the entire story. FL & ML are equally interesting in the story and dont go through the misunderstandings the entire story is based on in a lot of novels. To keep the story moving along revenge is usually pretty swift and isn't drawn out which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you like. Personally I like the pace in this story rather than having 1000+ chapters but only months pass like in some novels. Even the side characters have interesting stories that make then feel like they really belong and are not just there as support for the ML/FL. To be honest I found some of the side character stories on par with or more interesting than the main story characters at times. (Bias though as I thought Qian Lin was particularly interesting, even compared to the FL) Honestly, after the main story I'd have enjoyed reading another 1000+ chapters on the 3 kids. The twins more so than the daughter as I couldn't really enjoy her little arc as it was to similar to Tangning and Mo Ting in terms of her and her husbands personality so it just felt like it was missing something. There would have been a lot of potential with Zichen and Zixi though, and in the short arc on Zixi. Aoqi was quite interesting so I would've liked more. Zichen could've easily filled a huge arc alone with the identity of a national intelligence spy. Just my personal opinion. 😁

I love the power couple tag, cause it represent the couple trust and respect for each other and it's also show that the couple are smart, strong in they own individual ways.

this is not a novel I would recommend for a few reasons:
the novel deviates from the original protagonist to their children which tbh is not good
the protagonist takes it too far- even though for the sake of revenge the protagonist makes a girl become an prost*tute, which is very not cool
