The Strongest Gene

One of the worst novels amid the hundreds i have read. The MC has nothing to do with the name "strongest gene" and, in fact, many villains are a much better representation of this name, yet we are meant to cheer for the MC. The power system is completely meaningless, the author quickly gets rid of gene powers to introduce other systems, with no consistency at all: a power that could only block attacks from a certain rank one chapter will suddenly block attacks from 5 ranks higher some chapters later, a group of characters will easily defeat someone many ranks ahead of them in that power system, just for you to discover later that the enemy should have been thousands of times stronger than then(no exageration here) and the author seems to remember that and then they suddenly can't defeat anyone even a rank above. Also, the jokes are very childish and the MC relies almost completely on luck, and any expressions of skill is quickly removed or forgotten by the author in favor of vague luck or coincidence. Also, be ready for the author to blatantly lie, make up the most convoluted sequence of coincidence, luck and BS to make the story follow what he wants to happen (even if it makes no sense for his previously built world building, power system or character personalities). In short, the author has no respect for the readers intelligence nor for the world he has built and, as such, i can't bother to respect this novel either.

I was very disappointed with this webnovel. The premise was interesting, but the execution was poor. The mc mostly relies on his lucky artifact(though it has an interesting plot twist) and plot armor to survive. There are not many cliches though the world-building is inconsistent, there are many things like reincarnation, world hopping, time loops, a little space fantasy. . . Still, it's not bad to give it one try.

I tried to finish it but I really couldn't, the start was okay, but gets boring later on at 346 It's just unbearable now. The highest I can give it is 3. 5, maybe higher for others but it's my review so yeah 3 stars.

Good novel even if I dropped several times I finally managed to finish it I loved the futuristic side of this story even though and I understand that it is for the good of the story the searches too fast dinon the rebound are nice and the references to other novel numerous and nice earlier well implemented the end of the novel part I find far too far in the scenarios of Back Time and the moments of "I had guessed that you had guessed my plan" I had the impression that the author was lost in all this mess and the reunion with the parents had however could have been pushed a little further

Excellent novel... it contained everything which a good novel should have... liked awesome MC who's caring to all even to his enemies he given chances to get correct... loved the Chen Feng character very much and all the supporting characters were too good...
It contained fantasy, Science, Time travel... an roller coaster of a story.

Y’all ok some dump crap the MC is basically a man made female dog. First thought he was smart. He become stupid in front a women. What the hell with every novel. Every smart MC become dump ass in front of female

One of the finest quality novel i ever read..... total worth of time....this novel has everything.... training, planning, improving, betrayal, adventure, action, mistry, and deep plots..... although sometimes sudden emerge of villains got in my nerve like devil race suddenly came.....gods pop out suddenly and so on but overall it's ok. The history expect of story is weak.. there are no proper details about the historical events. Power up and ability discription also very poor, like MCs eye ability..there is no specific use of it. There are many mistakes But you will enjoy story for sure.

MC is clever and loyal to the love interest. I like the sense of humor in the novel too. One of the best novels that I've read until finished since I usually drop a novel real fast. But this novel makes me read until the end.
