The story is quite ordinary. It has the usual flaws. No innovation. But that doesn't mean it's persistently bad. The most important part of the story that hinders reading is the relationships between the characters. Some people have said that the character is stupid, but the problem is that the author fails in his desire to design intelligent characters. The characters are not mature, maybe the author is too young or hasn't been writing for a long time. He can deepen it as he gets more experience. The characters are immature and look like the imagination of a teenage boy. Overall the story is very bland in terms of characters. Therefore, the blandness of the characters affects the whole story in a bad way. I also noticed an exaggerated use of luck, which is often used, but I would suggest that care should be taken to limit its use.
I read up to chapter 948 and can’t continue anymore. Fight fight kill slaughter slaughter kill kill kill fight fight repeat repeat repeat. Lin Xun’s character is built off stupidity, baseless arrogance, hypocrisy and plot armour. At the start he uses his head and his rune skills, but all of a sudden this Author switched up faster than Kanye and threw it all away for basic cultivation trash. Its sh*t. I knew it was gonna be sh*t. But this… this is the sh*tt**st sh*t I have ever read. Save your time.

I've read to around chapter 930, maybe ill pick it back up later but not really feeling it right now, what I have to say about this novel is that its a pretty cut and dry cultivation story, if your a fan of the OG stories where MC goes on an arduous adventure into the unknown, has immense power but has to fight literally everyone around him all the time to prove himself, this is the one. As for the negatives, in the beginning its still quite tolerable as MC takes actions himself to fight others and appear weak to kill those stronger, but later on it devolves into the typical young master arrogance stuff where MC can be walking down the street and 5 arrogant young masters will find trouble with him for no reason, even hundreds of chapters in where MC is famous throughout the world this still happens, then its the same old kill the young and the old come, kill the old and the even older come.
It’s your standard good ‘ol cultivation novel. Can’t beat the classic recipe. Took me about 40-50 chapters for me to get invested.
I am in chapter 230th. This novel's progress is like old gen cultivation stories. MC becomes a master, hid his identity and sooo. A copy- past. Although it is an repetitive story, it is worth to give it a shot. It won't disappoint u. Martial word, the legend of Futian, cursed immortality, outside of time, library of heaven, martial universe, Top tier providence secretly cultivation, and all my disciple are villains are better than this novel, IMO. My score for this story is 6. Give it a try (till 100 chapters).
The only common thing among most of the comments are the words "another cliché cultivation story". But we have the 5 star rate. It tells me give it a try.
