many complain about info dump but to me it just explainable technique/concept though i agree about over explanation part but at least the MC is not a degenerate pscyco with family issue and double standard though he is a bit nerdy and the side character is not just one time spell card for MC to become stronger. i like how the technique work like sound projectile and vibration attack. my favorite is death sympathy and yin-yang spear, i also like Kane's fulminata, it sound cool

Explaining all realms, their power level, description and what default ability they bring. Apprentice realm(Street level) criteria: Achieved after individual discovers his martial path. Description: The body remains human but the mind is aligned with the path, enhancing cognitive and spacial abilities, better understanding of owns body making it possible to do things using martial arts impossible for humans eg: heat vision, minute body manipulation, flame generation through friction, hypnosis, sonic bullets and much more. Square realm(Multi-building/city level) criteria: developing complete individuality and synergy with path Description: The body is upgraded captain-america style with the brain altering the body that fits best with person's path. Eg: someone who used friction to make flames will gain rough-tough skin making it much easier. The body becomes so strong & synergised every squire unlocks sky-walk. Senior realm(Large Island) limit reached cont. in another comment

I have read 2000 chapters in (Yes I have read 600 chapters in 4 days I can be considered a god amongst men calm down plebeians) and can come out of saying the authors brain is so large that the author probably needs a team of martial transcendants to hold it up as he writes

forgive me for expecting a lot of fights and less talk from a novel called "MARTIAL Unity"... came down here for entertainment not another brain workload... this is like a warlock of the magus world shie but is about martial arts, and more talk. Honestly 40 chapters you'd expect to be hooked. too much build up for too little result. says he's a genius but all the shie he knew are actual shie(like negative shie) in the other world. Acted like a mature boy for 13 years then becomes a child "in the face of martial arts because he loves it". nope. I don't see the logic put in all the other parts of the story in this. it's B.S! all the actions are too thought about like debunking the mystical magic that makes it mysterious and exciting. the one that makes it fantasy. and it's F...kng martial arts bruh. give that shie some face. p.s. burn me I don't care I've been spending my time touching grass and working to be able to touch grass to think deep bout this.

Ngl since the author talks so much about anti thesis this is the anti thesis of regular cultivation novels where the start is so interesting only for the thousands part to start being boring because the power are too conceptual. Because it is rooted in physics then the power at the later stages are still grounded in reality yet very powerful. Although it is epic in the 2k+ it’s mindblowingly boring and downright grating in the first 800nchapters lol.

For those thinking if it is really worth it to read: Depends a bit apparently. I read some comments praising this story to the sky. Others saying you need to last through the first 50/100 chapters (depends on who wrote it). I got till chapter 533 and I wonder how it's rating is so good. It's just... not good. It's not bad either. An okay-ish read. But to be honest, I enjoyed about 50 chapters in total. The plot seems non-existent/shallow. And so far all I read (with about 30 chapter exception) is learn -> fight -> inner monologue -> learn -> fight -> inner monologue -> and so on and on. There are a lot of info-dumps. Tooooo many. Not just in the early chapters, but later on as well. Skill-choises get dragged on for about 5-10 chapters each 100 chapters. Then there is the continous repetition of infos already told multiple times. All those just make it annoying to read - at least for me. But maybe some like it, or they just skip/skim the chapters.

I'll give it a try and write a review once I'm done, but it wouldn't be the first time I come across a well rated novel that's bad on this site.

Could be just me as well. After all it's just a personal opinion. But I read far far better novels - in my opinion. Then again... I read far worse as well.

So I'm at chapter 550+ rn, I like it a lot so far, it's exactly what I was looking for. Just a nice read, it does have a lot of info dumps and it basically is more of a slice of life than a really focused fighting novel. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of fighting, but I think not as much as a lot of people expect. This is more like watching someone get stronger slowly, so basically just MC training, thinking and explaining his thought. What I really really like is the physics explanations, I like physics and it's really nice that it's being applied to martial arts here. This novel is not for the light hearted, simply because sometimes we get like 4 chapters in a row that are only info dumps, and there's also a lot, and I mean a lot, of world building. But it's well written imo πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸ»

    What is the setting? Murim?

Somewhat similar but not the same. There is no qi or something along its line in this story.

Nope. Just some alternative world in a medieval-ish setting. Medieval-ish because it's not really clear. Best example is transportation: On one hand they use rickshaws since with manual labor since they miss the technology, then later apparently some have motorised vehicles... and Martial Artists decided to just run or later on walk in the sky... Anyway, no it's not Murim-Setting. It's some weird mix of multiple world concepts.

for anyone leaving this novel because of bad info dump at start i recommend keep struggling. it will last till 50 chap and slowly starts improving by 100 chaps it becomes a good read. so don't give up before at least 60 chaps

the story is so good but why is there so much unnecessary info if he is dogging sideways so that's it we don't need to know the physics behind maintaining Ballance, gravity, torque, muscle strength, air resistance, friction. man just a sideways doge contain 3 para. story is enjoyble but I am skipping para and still feeling like I am not skipping anything at all.

Yeah just skip those parts, it's fine especially if you have hundreds of chapter to read. But kinda of pain if you already caught up and still reading daily updated chapter.

It feel kinda amazing to see Rui strongest attack going from "stabbing toe in the eye" in apprentice realm to creating literal f*ck*ng sun as an attack in the recent chapters.
