Honestly, I read this novel up to chapter 200 and it was almost interesting and I would like to read its continuation, but one thing has made me unable to read even 1 chapter, and that is the comedy tag in the novel. As much as I love the Comedic Undertone and those serious comedies, I hate silly comedies, which as far as I've read is as if it's the main theme of the comedy novel. For example, those comedies that make the characters stupid, or mc repeating complaints for stupid things, or creating plot holes to make the novel funny. In short, I don't want to complain about the novel, but I wanted to ask those who have read more, whether it will be correct and continue reading?

Alright i just read 900 chapters and i can confidently say this that this is a hidden gem. I dropped it because i wanted something new to read but if your bored like me and need something to read then this is definitely worth your time. I would call it top 50 worthy. It has its flaws dont get me wrong but also has stellar characters that really help the story. 7-8/10. Please do yourself a favour and at least try the first 100 chapters out

Hi, I am interested in this Novel and have read the Mahnwa until it didn't get published any further, but I have two questions and hope/believe you can give me an answer to my questions. Here are the question: Does only the protagonist have a supernatural power? Does the protagonist have a system? Thanks in advance.

Others have supernatural powers as well and the protagonist can be said to have a system, yes.

others have good powers as well it starts slow and does a lot of world building from a small scope and zooming out completely in the end

I’m trying to figure out which one to start with first: Release That Witch or The First Order. I don’t want to read the better one first and risk the second one feeling underwhelming. Any thoughts?

if u enjoy city building and using knowledge of the future in the past, you will enjoy release that witch. But if you enjoy a more dynamic storytelling with a funnier and richer plotline, first order is better. In my opinion, first order is better.

Release that Witch first I guess. First Order is a very good novel and deals with a lot of philosophical topics while discussing the survival of the human race Release that Witch to me is just about another guy with a harem who uses that harem to make modern inventions although that's only where I stopped

Can someone tell me a brief info about the progress of romance of this novel? I dont really like reading novels with s*x involve in it (Specially with the MC), but if the romance was like just put at the end of the story, then I dont mind trying to read this novel

dont worry its not s*x oriented. it has a bit of romance in it but more like platonic love

Normlaly i also hate romance and sh*t in novels. But in this one its very good written, it kinda starts in the middle parts but not forced, slow build up. I am only at chapter 600 tho, i recommend just starting it, the world building and character development is really good

A diamond in the rough. I would recommend this to anyone who has already finished reading the top novels on this site. This is a solid runner up for those novels in the top spots. Overall well-written, a solid 8/10. Strengths: >Absolutely hilarious >High quality translation by the same translator throughout the entire novel. Most of the comedy is not lost in translation, and the translator is able to clearly explain un-translatable chinese culture references/jokes in the margin. >Outstanding character writing. On characters alone this novel would be a 9/10. I usually have trouble remembering characters with Chinese names. but definitely not in this novel. Weaknesses: >Plot is not always as interesting as the characters. Rather it seems the plot is meant to supplement the character development which results in a few logical leaps especially regarding the inconsistency with the MC's first power. 7/10 for plot. Enjoy reading this. I will meet ya'll in the Prosperous Northwest!

After reading a measly forty-ish chapters. This novel feels like if you took the power system from Embers Ad Infinitum, how humans live in Kill The Sun, and the apocalypse from both, then put all of it together. (That’s a compliment)

Which is a funny way to describe it considering it's older than those two. It's not as trippy and the humor is a bit more straightforward than Ember's absurdism
