I dropped this at chapter 1400 something because there was nothing important happening and it was a pain waiting for chapters, can't believe it still ongoing and it almost 2000 chapters. Is it close to the end?

As someone who keeps up with the news, there are many things I can say to those of you who have noticed if it is true that the protagonist is somewhere between smart and retarded. If many colleagues tend to say or create problems for free. If the villain has a pretty big plot armor. But the world is interesting and so are the mechanics. And lastly I hate bowan(I think that's how it was spelled I don't remember). And sorry for my bad english

Sometimes i wonder why master wasnt the mc of this novel..it could have been like sh*tty version of overlord where mc invades another world and becomes king.. Master has more plot armor than jake and is far more op and also has op people who want to be his slaves including gods and eternals for absolutely no reason..plot armor doesnt get any better than this...we are reading this story from wrong perspective..master should have been the main character

Ok so novel starts off good mc is smart at the beginning but halfway through author has made the same mistake as many other authors making mc dumb arrogant showy and a down right *d**t for dramatic purposes I guess can't really get why authors do this other than they don't get enough drama from reality it's truly annoying and to top it all off said author complains about people complaining about mc on web comic. If I'm paying you which I do on webcomic then take the criticism of the people who pay you and used it or ignore it but don't complain about it. That in itself makes the novel less interesting especially when people are constantly getting triggered by mc being an *d**t or transforming from top rate expert to a proud showy *d**t. Just saying.

Okay Right now I’m on chapter 89, the concept pf this novel is great imo, but for fk’s sake man this author created one of the most stupid mc I have come across in a while not to mention, very detestable characters like bowan or I cant even care remember his name an example be he starts talking trash randomly and he’ll bad mouth you or start big fight and then starts 🍖 meat riding mc to save his *ss 💀 then female sidekick is no brainer too. Mc let some random dudes to treat him like trash and he follows their orders too bruh come on you are strongest kill them so they dont mess with you. He asks most stupid question and then stands there like a clown when enemies on top of him. Can someone tell me if he ever gets rid of bowan guy or gets smater? After reading RI and similar stories it makes harder to enjoy these kind of novels you end up comparing too lord Fang Yuang which end up ruining your taste in novel

I originally created an account specifically because this story, I just hadn't been able to formulate a proper comment since that time. I originally wanted to be since and fair when talking about this story... but I can't. The longer I've waited to write this, the more my disdain for this story has grown, to the point I'm making this comment now in hopes of it still being somewhat based on the story's own merit and not my own disdain. Disclaimer, I stopped reading at Chapter 943, take this review with a grain of salt. I'll also avoid specifics, keeping this relatively vague. The world building is messy. The system itself is filled with so many glaring contradiction that, at many points, it feels as if the author forgot previously established knowledge. The main character is hollow, relying on plot armor so think, you'd be forgiven for mistaking it for his skull. The side character are a mixed bag, some are good, some are awful. Worst of all, in my opinion, are the awful plot twists.
