is this the one that have a manhwa? :o I also haven't read that manhwa but people claim that this one was the "origin" of isekai's, so I look it up here and found the same name.

I finally stumbled across this. Dunno how I didn't find it before, since I've been reading many similar genre web novels here for awhile. Oddly, right before I found Reincarnator, I was reading a book series called System Fall (by Kaz Hunter) on Kindle Unlimited. From what I've read, that book series copied the main concept, plot points, and characters from Reincarnator almost VERBATUM. Guy comes back from an apocalyptic future: check Creepy "guide" in the tutorial that kills people who are annoying it: check Subway/underground exploration area with a convenience store: check Food that disappears at night/when the moon is out: check Central structure with a Minotaur that will be released to kill everyone: check. Second stage where the group has to pare down to a set number by murdering someone: check Area where they have to cross suspended bridges to other platforms/buildings/islands that collapse after a set time: check Psycho murderess and father/daughter/mother that dies: check.

Does the protagonist end up with someone?

No. It is alluded to that he is interested in someone towards the end but we never see him actually express romantic/sexual interest in another character.

Awesome read, definitely among the top. In my own opinion, this is on the same level of shadow slave, the author pov, leveling with the gods, the second coming of gluttony, etc. Also if you like this story, i have a recommendation of the same level with the same 7 layer concept but have completely different story. Reborn: Apocalypse by L M Kerr, basically the summary is the mc is among the last 50,000 elite warrior of humanity who stepped at the final layer, but was annihilated and returned back in time with the ring he got somewhere, in short the chapter 1. Its so f**ng good that i cant wait for the book 5, mc, side characters, villains are all so smart, the way everyone utilizes everything in their arsenal to defeat each other damnn. Read the entire book 1 and you will keep begging for more.

shadow slave, the author pov? Man, this is not even comparable to them. I read it but the whole novel is just about mc talking to others and arguing with them etc. Out of 50 chapters, 35 chapters explain about others, which have nothing to do with the story, and MC is there only to show that he is better than others. In short, it is far from a masterpiece by a very, very large margin.

Worthy of being the progenitor of regressor novels (from what ive heard) Absolutely amazing plot and interesting power system that had me binge reading and losing track of many hours Whilst the end does seem a bit rushed and the power system becomes a bit blurry, it is still one of my favourite novels of all time 10/10 If you like regression novels and you like hard working protagonists who get results worthy of their effort, i couldnt recommend more (i recommend this no matter what you like)

So much potential. Rushed anyway, so it becomes intolerable in the end

The novel gets worse as the arcs goes on, until part 2 where there is a radical change, for the worse in my opinion. I abandoned the novel when he became amnesiac, it was one drop too many.
