A good novel, ruined by the slothful person go post-it here, many chapters missing entires sentences, many omissions of keywords that makes read them extreme annoying, i am dropping this novel in this site because i am dissapointed of such poor quality of translation, and obviously, the editors din't care about quality.
It's a pretty decent webnovel a great one if ur looking for VRMMO. I begin was awesome but it kinda loose it's track after mid but it was good. I'd loved it even more if the author gave the physical life a bit more attention, for a sec it made me feel like the mc has reincarnated into another world. But overall it's a great web novel.
One of the best VRMMO novel out there. MC is intelligent, cold-blooded, clever and logical. Female lead is also best. Story is mostly focused on game only, and the world building inside the game is good, equipment, skills and quests are interesting. I hoped author would also tell how mc Reincarnated and do some real world building also, despite this, this novel is good read. I will definitely recommend this masterpiece to fellow readers.
The 1st 400 chapters are pretty awesome and a hooking read. After that, however, is a bit of a catastrophe. The ending part, however, is quite satisfying. Also, author has a knack for describing glorious, grandiose, and awe-inspiring scenes. Issues after chap 400: 1) Author gave MC a lot of OP skills and items of which a lot is passive, and was able to showcase how OP they are while fighting mobs, but whenever he meets other players, somehow those skills/items are forgotten and become nonexistent 2) Author made the MC extra OP with a lot of items that give off +30% all stats and the likes which allow him to solo bosses way above his level even with the concept of level suppression. However, when faced with other players, author nerfs MC's strength to create fake tension and to make the other party look strong. 3) Cooldowns, stats, time it takes to evolve pets, level of summons and pets, and other numerical details are often changing based on what the author needs for the plot(e. g. a lvl 200 summon suddenly becomes lvl 300, skill cd is 10 days but suddenly MC can use it again before 10 days is up) 4) MC at times suddenly falls to single digit IQ when the plot calls for it
Overall a pretty good story. The only reasons I can’t give it 5 stars are that after the mc reached his third class there was a somewhat persistent element that just felt like plot armor, but it was eventually fixed, and the ending. Honestly, the ending was more than a bit too short. Personally, the last arc would have been much better if it were about 50 chapters longer. Instead, we got a rushed and somewhat sloppy cleanup of remaining plot points, some with no real explanation. The final battle was also really good.
Ok. I read both this one and RSSG. To me they quite different. Here, the MC wants to get revenge of the person who caused his family to be destroyed and take them to be the best company in the world where in RSSG the Mc wants to get his glory and do things in different way of the one he did. One of the things that annoyed me here that the author never showed the MC stats. LIKE NEVER. this is a game and gamers have stats. He shiwed us the stats of equipments and skill but never the MC. RSSG was far better in this aspect. Another things, the plot here was kinda simple. MC wants revenge and gets it one way or another but in RSSG the MC discovers that the world was more complicated than he ever thought and things got clearer by time. But still it's worth reading.
Very good novel in general. The characters, the story and the world are very good. It have many details that, if you are picky, you will find annoying. The game system itself is quite simple, sometimes nonsensical and unbalanced. If you are a fan of MMORPG games you will easily realize this. It leaves many plots unresolved and also opens up plots that seem like they are going to be important but then they don't talk about it again, which I think is a shame since some things looked interesting. The ending is done very quickly and it shows, but it's not bad. Overall recommended reading if you like the VRMMORPG genre and are not too fussy about details.
This was the first novel I’ve ever read, about two years ago. I can now confidently say after reading most of the top 50 novels on LNW that this is definitely among the greats
One of the few rebirth gamer stories that actually portraits how games actually evolve, with expansions, balance patches and meta shifts. MC is also OP only because he works for it. Outside of game world building is also very good, and the ending is "open ending" done right imo (you get the sense that the world continues, but the story of the MC actually ends).
All in all, this was a great read. MC is no weakling, and is smart. I really liked the romance in this. it was great. Though the ending felt rushed, the entirety of the novel was good. The fights were very good, and many moments in this gave me chills.
I also particularly like that, unlike most novels, the side characters weren’t completely useless. I mean, they all spent tons of time working on their gears, levels, and skills and I like that it showed. Yes, the mc was obviously the strongest, but every single one of the others was a top player and displayed the skill expected of one.
