overall pretty good but the translation is pretty rough in some places making it harder to follow sometimes. the mc is a Anti-Hero which is rather nice but sometimes over the top. his growth is immense but still there are stronger and stronger enemies, so it remains interesting even in the later chapters

I finished the second section so far and I'm really enjoying it. I will say that the adding the sound effects really breaks the narrative in an unpleasant way, causing me to reduce its rating slightly. that said having an unsympathetic MC is really pleasant. well done.

Good story, ending is confusing (it doesn't really has an end) It ain't perfect but overall good read. For People who likes towers novels and gods/mythology.

This novel is about Family Love! And it delivered perfectly! Gosh the amount of time I cry. . . It's not even funny ahahaha the family love I'm talking about also not just blood but also found family, this novel done such a good job at it! Truth to be told there's a lot of flaw in this novel, not from the story itself but from how the author show it, it's quite understandable because this is their first works, it honestly amazing how it actually turn out overall great! The thing about it is that it's not like they're bad are writing, because most of the chapter are done beautifully! The banter is top notch! The world building is great, but there are just some chapter where the build up is too much or it just feel like it's unnecessary. If you're not too stingy about all that, this will be perfect for you! Oh I should say, the side story isn't done yet, Idk if it's from this side or the author side but knowing it's been 3 years, I think it just from this side/no one translate it yet, which is honestly a shame! I want to read it!!! Even after all this year I still want to read it again! There's nothing that will stop me to see them just chill at the end! PLEASE! ANYTHING!! Oh and adds on, the spin on this story from the myth that we not is just fantastic, I'm an avid myth lover so this is just tickle my brain ahahaha All in all, I definitely recommended this still! Give it a try you'll fall in love with the character too!

Note to self: Copy the review before posting it—third rewrite. The main story is complete but the sides are not. Pros: Start of story ( Some parts) Characters at the start of the story Yeon Woo's subordinates( until the middle) Family relationships Boo and the singer ( Inside joke) Happy ending Revenge Relationship between master and fellow disciple Comedy Cons: End of story (Messy) Romance (Utterly forced) Character depths ( Fades off) Little character development Powers ( Most have unclear explanations) Little to zero losses (Distasteful) Got a new cheat in almost every chapter ( Most mentioned for a few chapters) Repeating situations Yeon Woo acts like his bipolar Problem? -> Destroy everything

mid book. MC is very plain, there is almost no character development. It wouldnt be an exaggeration to say that he's emotionless if only there werent added some scenes where mc laugh or jokes around. Plot isn't bad it's just basically mc trying to get revenge on people who betrayed his brother (not a spoiler). But there's quite a few confusing matters I couldn't really understand about this novel: the beginning and whole power system. How is it that with a few rare items, mc could defeat "rankers" the so called most powerfull players in the tower? (person who didnt even reach level 20 of the tower killed person who went above level 60). Novel also mainly consists of mc finding very powerfull and secret items around the tower left and right, picking them up like cabbages. The thing is that each item or power had a few chapters of explaining and getting it only to be used once further into the novel and then forgotten - This is another thing that made the book boring. I can't say that the novel is bad, or badly written. It's just uninteresting tbh.

I was originally reading the manwha when I caught up and couldn’t live without it. So I found the book and binge read the entire novel. It had a lot of good fight scenes, lots of character development, and of course lots of power boasting. Unlike similar novels, the author did an absolutely amazing job towards the end. Definitely a must read.

Would have been 5 stars if the ending was a bit more straightforward, I’m still confused trying to figure out what the ending truly signifies but otherwise this is a story I enjoyed. Try it, you might enjoy it too

a very complete story with balanced plot and smart protag. . story starts easy and funny but gets serious and mysterious as it progresses. mc is smart an op but still not on the top till the very end he struggles. one of the best tower novel there, just that there could have been some romance

This novel is the embodiment of "the journey is better than the destination. " Everything was working really well for this novel until the ending finale chapters (5/5). Simply put they needed to cook more, add more to the finale and less of these after stories. Basically, the author made a half-baked ending (open ended) then felt it wasn't enough. He then made all these after-stories only to leave them incomplete, and just jumbling up everything and making it confusing. The story became a multiverse type story and just generally confusing. All the author had to do was give us a real solid ending in the finale and be done with it, but he didn't. I still highly recommend reading this novel, the journey was that good. Just know that you'll have to make a head-cannon ending for it to feel complete.
Read the sequels. I think the ending will come after the sequels.
