ITS COMPLETED NOW? d*mn... this was one of the first novels i've read years ago. i left it at around ch 1K and i already forgot about the story. seems like its time to read it again and re-witness the making of God Grid.
Honestly I love this novel as a s*ck*r for kingdom building and a big, active supporting cast. It's just a shame that I think this novel really begins to pick up around/after the Fourth National Competition, which is chapter 940. Its not long after that probably my favourite aspect of the novel is introduced, but its a shame most people won't get that far especially when I feel like it slows down around the 600s and you kind of have to deal with it till the 800s (with exception of one rather pivotal moment), although thats an issue with most longer novels
does the real world in the novel contain no magic? its just a game novel?
this is a good "turn your brain off" novel, but if you've read smth like Reverend Insanity then its probably in your best interest to avoid this like dog dook in the yard btw for those wondering abt the racism tag, no author isn't racist (I hope not at least), theres some character(s) that are (not naming bc spoilers)
(DISCLAIMER: No spoilers ahead all the stuff that I talk about in this comment is not relevant to the story cause it inevitably turns into background shenanigans/filler so take all of this with a grain of salt or you'll probably forget about this post eventually anyway so it's fine lol) I'm sad to see a good novel end with so many loose ends not being brought up... like I'm a lil salty that we didn't get anything more with agnus using his abilities irl and the whole reason why the SA group is manipulating physical bodies to use in game abilities and that Giant *ss astroid thats gonna hit earth. There was sooooooo much more that could've been expanded on and we got this ending(which felt rushed in my opinion), very sad to see the author throw away good plot points just to end the series, probably not gonna read their next stuff due to that 🤷♂️
