I just read the volume 1 finale and d*mn that's some climax. Every character has his own belief and act acordingly. The plot feel natural and is very engaging. 5 star

To that point the story is really good, the only thing which I hope for, is that the world building become more clear and develop because for the time being he's somewhat classic.

Well written Author's cooking 🔪 And I won't spoil it 🤠But let me just give you a hint; The MC has emotions but thinks about benefits

All those complaining, finish volume 1 = 327 chapters . And only then raise your voice . Novel is peak, but people want instant rewards without hard work . ever heard of Buildup ? . Anyway, read it till ch 327 and it will not disappoint you

Well written but so slow as to become boring. After 113 chapters it still feels like we're waiting for the intro to end and the actual story to begin. I'm a big fan of RI but this book just feels like a period drama instead of a fantasy and catch keep my attention. Lots of side characters and very little payoff.

It's mid -absurdly so. I engaged with the story in hopes of striking gold --yet I was fed with a cardboard cutout of words-- a husk of a novel. A promising premise; quite a typical Gu Zhen Ren's style, yet so much of a difference and atypical uninteresting evolution of plot -further derogated by the author's signature hyperbolic writing style, which tends to push the narrative off the character. Ren's character writing has always been his weak point; lacking all aspects in development -which seemed to have eclipsed his plot writing as well. The story struggles to progress in a steady pace and meaningful development. Bloated as some would say -if you think RGSSG was too tedious, I can guarantee you this book will give it a run for its money. Imagine you in your younger years when you spent procrastinating a week before exams -that is what this story is. The clock continue to tick yet the pages on the book refused to turn. The tides may not wait for no one but even a grandpa on a wheelchair will have reached checkered line of a marathon by the time the plot progresses one bit. A plot full of holes, draggy and tedious writing that revolves around hyperbolic exclamations made by empty shells of what Ren consider "characters".

It's a novel that's quite impressive and has a reverend insanity-like vibe. Anyway, the author of the same character development is beyond excellent and quite engaging. In particular, the sanctity of the main character is very pleasant, and the subject of puppetry is handled properly.

I read this novel up to chapter 150 and I'm letting it accumulate. I'm very satisfied with Gu Zhen Ren's work, maintaining the high level of his previous books. The protagonist, despite being very intelligent, is just a teenager discovering the world. He has experience but isn't perfect, he feels anxiety and makes mistakes. Throughout the story, we see a lot of his personality and his maturation. Very good, I definitely recommend it.

cool world building, captivating plot, trully smart character and the power of puppet which is not overused. In short : a must read, I really want to view new chapter

This novel gives Ri vibes but has a righteous cover. MC thinks if you are in righteous Faction, even if there are differences, you get to keep your life and won't easily engage in life and death battles and cherish life. But does quite opposite and kills many to further his own interest and has quite good at righteous excuses and that makes you laugh 😂 silly. This is different from other cultivation novels, MC is not edgelord, neither self centred arrogant person, very humble and doesn't have chaotic thoughts and is man of action, saving us the nonsense and we get material to read and progress the plot at good pace.
How there aren’t even that many chapters on here
