    Question, does the MC ever become a competent badass, or does always remain this bumbling *d**t, that's only strong because of the Library? If that's the case, how does the story keep going for over 2000 chapters? I'm only 600 chapters in, and I am growing tired of the MC being a bumbling fool.

    Summery: 1)arrogant people talk-to/think-about the protagonist arrogantly in the most annoying manner. 2)all of a sudden nice people come and talk about him nicely. 3)protagonist slaps arrogant people(figuratively or literally) in the face and they become very defeated and ashamed. 4)something extremely funny happens. 5)somehow between all of this protagonist gets stronger by reading. 6)everything above happens again

    123 chapters in I can confidently say that this novel is completely ridiculous but I am still going to continue because as they say this novel is as funny as hell... A fair warning you have to switch off your brain and not think of logic while reading this to enjoy this novel completely Happy reading fellow daoist

      Funny only if you enjoy the mean spirited kind. Oh you're a master who spend decades in your craft? Well let me some one who got all this knowledge without doing any real work come and ruin your entire life you work so hard for coz haha funny. The MC it a worthless piece of trash with no redeeming quality who got a free ride on life with the system. And he constantly use it to accidently f*ck people over, most of people just minding their own business.

        Sorry for being overly aggressive wasn't meant to target it at you or anything. I honestly really enjoy the story initially but the further it went the more mean spirited everything became came. When its *ssh*l* who deserve it sure but it got to a point where it was just about anyone would get screwed over by the MC and its all played for laughs.

    The best face slaping. When I read it years ago I laughed so much. I LOVE THIS NOVEL 5 stars. Read it I recommend it. Even though feels repetitive after 700-900 chapters i never felt it and there are always new things added and jokes are sooo good. I love it ❤ the top 3 in my list

    I have completed the novel, finding it enjoyable for leisurely pursuits. However, at times, I found myself perturbed by its repetitive narrative style, particularly concerning the perpetual theme of cultivation and the constant pursuit of surpassing one's adversaries. This theme persists until the conclusion, wherein the narrative once again delves into the realm of cultivation and ascending to higher echelons of power.

        I wonder when people start actually aping chatgpt style etc for a variety of reasons, if that then becomes a cultural phenomena, or if it's even possible to do so for us normal guys who don't have several PhDs in the relevant subject matters.
