    Feel a lot like an AI generated light novel ... - fusing many light novels (not a problem if the 'patchwork' was well made) - giving MC objectives/goals forgotten 5 chapters later - disjointed dialogue or story telling - justify childish MC behaviour because of age but forget about is past just after ... I struggled to reach 100 chapters, so i don't know if there is a twist later with the 'method' which the MC use to become stronger ? (I mean it's written that it make it sharper/smarter, but it doesn't seems so ...) P.S: So, to resume, I can at least tell that if you like a stupid MC and stupid people buzzing around him (or 'smart' people becoming dumb because of MC halo), this novel is for you.

        If we don't consider the light novels taken to make this one, for sword&magic novel: - The Runesmith (good world building but slow update) - Surviving as a Mage in a Magic Academy (overpowered MC but still well written)

        I was getting desperate in finding an interesting new read but I just went and checked out The Runesmith and it looks really interesting. Thanks a lot for the advice ! (As for the other novel, people seem to often complain about the translation, so I'll think about it)

      I believe this is xianxia, not wuxia. Xianxia is about fantasy while wuxia is about national hero.

        Hi! I dropped this novel at chapter 164, then went to read "Martial World" instead. I can see that the author of this novel used the main plots from "Warlock of the magus world" and "Martial World", mixing few bits of " The beginning after the end." However his way of thinking was lame. He changed MC from cautious and cunning into stupid one. 😑

        I think it's very close to "Close Combat Mage" instead. Anyway it's sad that this website doesn't have other novels from Wen Chao Gong who wrote "Warlock of the magus world." All his novels are about transmigration. It seems he's very addicted to it.😂

    I read LOtM about 4 times, I read SS about 3times I'm in my fourth read while also read the two chapters a day, I read tbate about 7 times and dropped it because of the last arc, I am reading Cultivation online evrytime it drops, I read the author's POV and dropped it after fights with gardians.. I read many more lightnovels, and to this day I don't understand how in the world is Greatest Legacy of the Magus Universe not top 10 it is crazy to this amazing novel not ranked even in top 20!!

        If i still recall correctly, the first 350 chapters are just pure bliss, so i would strongly advise you to read it, but after that it becomes extremely slow, at least for my taste, it does not have any comedy anymore (which was one of the best things it had before), overall, the last arc was just not worth it for me, there were many other things i was reading at the same time too so i just dropped it.

      The writing keeps slinging between 'hey thats pretty good' and 'urgh annoying why?' And mc has character growth backwards the stronger he becomes the more mistakes he makes.
