GAB the greatest and best novel of all time. Honestly a masterpiece. It should have a way higher rating tbh 4 does not do it justice at least 4. 5 imo. Cuz iv seen novels at 4. 5 that are absolute trash compared to this.

This book is my first and favourite novel. Has a special place in my heart and RYU OH RYU THE GOAT. Anyways the character dev top notch the world building top notch, side character top notch, villains top notch, fighting , concepts top notch this novel is the best of the best.

Honestly an insult on how low rating this novel is. There are so many novels at 4 stars + that cant even comapre. Like the power system top notch the mc top notch the power concepts and fights top notch and ohhhh the face slapping this novel deserves a way higher rating

up to chap 815: The author explains ideas and new plot points a bit overdrawn but relatively well, but the issue is that it is then further explained again in the same overdrawn manner with only occasionally new information strewn in. There are some chapters and paragraphs that are just exposition to some benign and minor matter that the author either forgets or only brings up in one small sentence in the future. I find myself un-engaged and skipping large portions of what can only be described as drivel. Other than that it’s good.

Bad protagonist, lots of forced slaps in the face, just kill the opponent, confusing power levels, I gave up in the first 100 chapters, waste of time.

The greatest awspec novel I have ever read. Ryu's arrogance just being one of my favourite parts and also I love seeing his character development as the story goes on. The abilities concepts and all that are so interesting to read and I love it. Side characters also have some depth to them though there are a few the author could work on. World-building is also pretty cool as we learn how big the universe is out there. And finally last but not least the nerfs 😭😭😭 my least favourite part of the novel but an aswspec classic whenever Ryu gets a power-up.

Gave it 600 chapters, the reveal around that chapter put the final nail in the coffin. Before that, I felt this was a pretty average series. The MC is so stupid and egotistical sometimes, and never actually has to pay for it. The attempts at romance in this are so cringe. Like I said it's just very average, nothing has ever gotten me pumped up, and nothing has ever gotten me truly rage inducing, until what I mentioned earlier that happens around chapter 600. So, nothing that really makes this stand apart, from everything else.

He is stupid. He makes dumb decisions all the time, via being a newb, and arrogance. And he rarely if ever has to pay for these mistakes. I have read many of these stories, he is a below average MC. And that's because the author is attempting to write something complex, by trying to make his character grow. While I applaud the attempt, it is badly executed, imo, at least to the point I've read. Maybe the author improves? But I am just not interested enough to keep reading to find out. Which for me is rare, because I almost never give up on a series, even if I don't like it that much. But, there is just something about this series, that I feel absolutely nothing towards. There wasn't a single moment in the series that got me pumped or excited, or interested. You may have a different opinion? That's fine, I am not trying to convince anyone into feeling how I feel about this series.

Lmaoo I love this novel. The funny thing is no matter how much you hate the MC, the mc also knows what you hate about him and so does the author. It goes to a point that even his own Dao heart expels his soul because of how stupid “arrogant” he is lmao.

it leans heavily on concepts and world design rather than story progression and dialogue. While on paper it sounds okay-ish, it's not because pacing is all over the place. When I say it's all over the place, I mean it's like you are reading a thesis about a fantasy world, not reading a novel. Is it complex? Surprisingly it is not, but some "concepts" take so long that it's both meaningless and absurd. We don't need to delve into the same thing repeatedly to get the point across, and then say the exact same thing but slightly change the outcome of that train of thought. It gets boring pretty fast and you start wanting to skip and get a move on. 1700 chapters could have been 500 chapters, and it would have been for the better.
