This is one of the best entertainment novels I've read (actor, singer, writer, etc. . . ), and it is simply by the fact that the mc is not a filthy plagiarist who comes from another world and is copying existing works. Basically, he's not a 'fake genius'. This is harder to pull off than it seems, because you obviously can't create new music to match the novel, so you have to rely on vague feelings and descriptions to convince the readers that the mc is creating good music while having absolutely no idea what that music is supposed to sound like. And the author managed to walk this tightrope for the entirety of the novel. As for the rest, the writing style goes smoothly and the grammar's fine, so nothing jarring that'd ruin the reading experience. The mc is quite likeable, and there're no unreasonable *rs*s making trouble or anything. No stardom and scandals. No harem. The romance is so minimal that it feels like the author added it just to tick a box. The MC has a girlfriend, but their relationship doesn’t have much spark—no passion or drama. She’s around a lot and has a decent amount of presence, but honestly, if the author had written her as just a good friend, it wouldn’t have changed the story at all. It’s not a big deal, though, since the romance wasn’t really the focus of the novel anyways. The focus is on music, and music only. If I had to make a complaint though, it'd be that the mc is too 'perfect' in terms of music. Like, he can do anything music related (except singing) at an extraordinary level. It felt like the mc would never fail no matter what he did. But in any case, that tension didn't seem to be the purpose of the novel so everything's good. I guess I would've loved to see the author write this in greater length and go into more detail about the mc's learning progress and life, but I guess that'd test the author's skills a lot. To sum it up, this novel was written by an author knew and respected the limits of their abilities. He/She had a great concept, and they managed to nail it. This is a vastly underrated novel, so give it a shot and you won't regret it.

This was incredible! I especially appreciate that the MC was portrayed as a real human being and the incredible musical knowledge was a great foundation for the artistry of the story. Viva God’s Song!

I'm adding back a review since the one I had made was less than 8 months ago. Anyways, it's a very good read. One of the only novels that I read completely since I usually drop before the end for no reason.

Very good novel. You'll learn a lot about music and tidbits of history and general information. I like how the author portrays the main characters as simple people that do not succumb to greed and pretensions that comes with fame and money.

great novel which i recommend everyone to read as it has great knowledge regarding music and you come to know about operas different musical instruments
