Five Star for Five Element! Approve the author who have Heavenly Talent about chill and true Cultivation. It was very refreshing, definitely recommended in your path of tranqulity.

As of chapter 194. MC is an immortal from the very beginning. Time means nothing to him, and you can expect to see him spend hundreds of years learning something that'd take 10 years if he had a teacher. A major part of their personality is safety comes first. If they kill someone they discard all evidence so that persons grandpa then sect then ancestor doesn't come after them. Another example is a wounded ppwerhouse appearing near them, they run and don't get caught up in any trouble. No harem, no romance. Just a fun journey

Very calming flow of events ther is no rush in climbing cultivation stags he stick to his plan There is a remarkabel grow of personality He have

nice and chill story of an untalented but hard working immortal just having fun, adventuring and learning new skills without an arrogant, h*rny, stupid, boring MC

I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS STORY. ITS A SLICE OF LIFE CULTIVATION STORY. THE ENTIRE PLOT IS JUST CHEN XUN AND XIMEN TRAVELING THE WORLD, HAVING FUN AND LEARNING THINGS. THESE TWO ARE WHOLESOME.

i wouldn't say this is the same type of 5 stars as RI or LOTM but this book is very unique, the story is less about cultivation nonsense but more about enjoying their time and finding joy in life, like of slice of life, some will say this isn't their cup of tea and thats okay, some people want lots of action, and while it is present in the book, it isn't the focus, the book doesn't really have a plot or a goal to progress too, i think their goal is to travel the whole world and see a-lot and experience a-lot, which is a pretty hard goal to achieve in a cultivation book, all in all, a solid read, ( 4. 9 ) there are some translation problems that are kinda annoying which could make or break this book.

This story lacks a sense of direction, it's core premise is ignores and underutilized while the MC is flat. The MC is bipolar between cautious and impulsive, taking risks for no reason and acting brainless to progress the plot. The MC is empty and uninspired, lacking consistently in writing. He is written as cautious, yet the last thing he invests points in is defense. Additionally he puts ZERO thought into things, investing points upon a whim despite constantly acknowledging his weakness. Throughout the story their immortality is barely important to the plot, while their point allocation takes the backstage with almost zero reader investment in it. The story focuses on mildly interesting to boring side stories and lacks tension or drive. I was going the give 3 stars but the sheer amount of wasted potential for this type of character duo and ability frustrates me.

I love this novel. If you expect a regular cultivation novel where the MC dominates everyone on their path and seizes opportunities, this is not it. This is a slice of life cultivation novel. Although cultivation is crucial; enjoying, experiencing, exploring the world and having quality time is the most important. This novel is the author's first but I didn't even notice that until the author mentioned it themselves in a chapter end note. It's clear that the author writes beautifully but the translation gets shaky sometimes although the meaning is still understood. My only complaint is that at the time of writing this review there are only 178 chapters (which I've already completed). That doesn't mean the chapters are short tho. Instead the novel has a certain charm that makes it easy to get back to and consequently make you read it quite fast.

This novel is very good, the MC's progress is also at a good pace, the author continues like this, I'm loving reading your work, congratulations

A very good novel. It feels more like a slice of novel than an action novel but there are definitely scenes that gave me goosebumps. The interactions between the ox and Chen xun are also hilarious, the author isn’t afraid to let time pass by and Is also not afraid to kill characters. I would describe Chen Xun as more of a pacifist and they will pretty much always try to avoid trouble unless they are certain they are strong enough to deal with it, if not then they will run away. There is also some themes of sect building and empire building, but those are for later chapters. P. S no romance yet in the chapters I’ve read (400)
I can really agree with the wasted potential, this novel could be way better without the forced dumbness, but it's still OK. :)
you maybe got fooled by chen xun, just like ximen (the ox) always thinking that his big brother is the strongest, smartest and wisest person on the planet. chen xun, ultimately is just a youngster who is excited about new things, he is very easily distracted and will act on impulse, his "cautiousness" is also something that he keeps improving, the author never specifically said or even implied that chen xun is a cautious or smart man, most of those things are the things that ximen (again, the ox) think about chen xun. even when he reached nascent soul, he is still a goofball who loves to pretend to his ox.
