Normally, any novel I bother finishing would get 3 stars at a minimum. However, I find myself incapable of giving this any more than 2 stars. It wasn’t all bad, the cultivation system and fights were well done, and the overall plot line was decent. However, there were issues. The harem element was one of the worst executed I’ve ever seen. The main character had over 15 ‘wives’ by the end of it, and none of them were given much relevance at all after they became an item. It was always meet, bang, have a kid, next. The main character often felt too relaxed. He was rarely in any real danger and the further the novel progressed, the safer he was. The power scaling of the threats he faced rarely ever felt like it met his own growth rate, meaning the novel felt like it was flowing down. There were so many inconsistencies, plot conveniences, and useless details that dragged down the story. We get a piece of information, it changes 3 times throughout the story. Main character needs something, he finds it really, really quick. Random encounter delays or exposes enemy trump card. Hundreds or paragraphs of useless details that no one remember that have JUST enough relevant information for it be necessary to read them. Finally, the most annoying part. Taixia Country and Hua people, which was China and Chinese people that was very obviously retextured, were so overhyped and over played. Who was the greatest threat to demons? Taixia Country and Hua people. Who had the greatest achievements in art, culture, food, technology, and everything else in the entire world? You guessed it, Taixia Country and Hua people. I’m sorry, but if glazing was Olympic sport, the author of this novel would have every gold medal and they might make a platinum medal just for him. Despite all of this, it was decent enough to hold my attention until the end and bother writing a review, I wouldn’t discourage anyone from reading it, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.

the story, world building and the ways of becaming stronger are interesting and unique. this novel could be much better but it isnt for couple of reasons: 1- mindset and mentality of main character is not suitable for this kind of novel. he is all about woman and woman alone. he doesnt really care about becaming stronger. he is always, and i mean, ALWAYS hor*ny to the point its fu*king ridiculous. 2- harem. when i started reading this novel i didnt see the tags or i would never read this. the interractions with other girls was funny at first but it became very irritating. 3-his unseriousness is also what makes this novel much worse. he has a cheat which isnt used by him properly at all, to the point he gets overtaken by some random people. his life is full of leisure time, like i dont understand why would the author thing this would be interesting for readers. 4- the story is developing at a very slow speed and it full of useless details. overall, i wouldnt recomend this novel.

Compared to previous translated Chinese books, this one is a breath of fresh air. The main character is mature and not overbearing. The narrative is about hormonal teens who do not frequently interact with the fairer, so the sexual undertone does not take away from the plot. Since it is a type of steampunk universe, the world in this story is somewhat different from typical cultivation worlds. This book was enjoyable, and I look forward to reading more.

So I liked the book in the begin it was fun to read some times a little bit over the top but thats ok, but after 400 chatpers everything changed the story gets weird and illogical, the cool and kinda OP Mc is gone. I Stoped after 430 Chapters so idk if it will get better

Honestly, I think the protagonist is a complete idiot who doesn't know how to use Castle's abilities well. Time jumps are poorly planned.

From the start I was in to this novel world, different from what I expected to be , I salute the writer for his effort and also the translation team ,

Start fine, ends up China nationalist propaganda IE: China (hua) best strongest greatest most honorable who can go and give orgasms all night long with big d. . also huas all best most handsome/beautiful and foreign wives should leave in the end. . Then there is the backtracking power creep. . mc regularly gets super strong nonsensically and wins a fight overpoweringly, then not long after he either loses his power and has to get new power until it comes back, or he is still super powered but suddenly in a situation he should easily wipe out. . it writes it as if the last 200 chapters of power boost isn't enough to win and has to do nothing/run away. . For example he obtains an attack that previously shows him able to kill earth knights to nothingness in one hit and fly at a speed even sages can't reach yet when coming across 100 knight team that's only partly earth knights , turns away and says nope can't do it. . too many Last but not least, lots of sexual assault in the guise of "joking" or "man being man" and even rape attempts simply because she's beautiful and he's a man so he can't help himself. . and no regrets at all. . simply put the story regularly advocates sex assault and rape as nothing wrong since women are meant to be docile and do what man wants

It started good but until 200 it started to be fillers and sex. His castle space powers were use repeatedly but not full potential at the beginning but I was hoping it would get better like other novel but I’ve read until 398 chapter you can only see time to time at least 10 chapter or so about when he goes in the castle space the never mention again. He never improves his power to it’s full potential by planting and collecting animals of various kinds but just left it out, theres even one time Heller(butler) repeatedly telling him to improve the castle. I was shock to see reviews so mess up that I was trick in reading it so please don’t get trick.

Love the novel. It has a great overall story, worldbuilding, character development, albeit it can be slow at times. This is also one of those stories that has done harem right. The MC faces a lot of hardships going through cultivation and his treasure doesn't immediately make him OP, but rather gives him the chance of becoming OP. There are a lot of twists and turns in the novel, including a lot of emotional ones. The power system is pretty well balanced and most importantly there's no young master bullshit. The MC's attitude is great as well. I would highly recommend this if you like a good cultivation story with some emotions and drama mixed in.

Crappy novel, author written novel like what he thoughts at the moment and wanted to differentiate with others. MC giving fucking explanation to every random passerby and goes for sex after every women he sees. He even tries to rape a girl who is more powerful than him and she is unable to resist. MC involves himself in every passerby’s story. MC doesn’t utilise tree space well and always tries to act as a humble person. There are three species in the world. Chinese, Demons, Humans ( not sure whether they are same as earthlings).
Note: Review till 500 chapters.
