My sole reason for dropping this was this sentence . "Lately, Luna had been experiencing a peculiar sensation. Whenever she was in Rudy's presence, her heart seemed to have a mind of its own." . Can you get anymore cliche than that? Well if you are looking for just some cliche timepass then it's alright.

After reading 80+ chapters... so far, 1. The story is average at best (u can easily predict most of the things) 2. MC is 4/10 ( dence + a pushover + boring (definitely not a badass or a cool MC) 3. almost no one is dying in the story (villains just get beaten up) 4. the girl's affection towards MC is forced by the plot (except 1 girl)

Read the whole thing it a nice action fantasy world with a sprinkle of slice of life the story is good not amazing and yeah you can guess what going to happen sometimes but that doesn't take away from the novel itself. A good read for those coming back to reading novels.

It's a fun read if you are waiting for updates on other novels. The translation is decent and you don't need to use the brain too much, it seems like the author is not that experienced and the world feels too small. Just don't expect too much with it and you will have a fun time.

Wet cardboard doormat. Lets people walk on him on purpose sometimes. Good story to relax after a mystery or tragedy or horror story though.

One chapter in and it's giving me all those tired cliche vibes. An academy, a reborn into a game they played, but oh no I reincarnated as one of the villains! And worse still, it does that annoying thing where the world will end unless he jumps through a whole bunch of hoops and makes sure he is strong but not too strong etc. There's like 10 novels with almost the same plot I can remember off the top of my head. I killed the main character, the female leads all hate me and so forth.

      This isn't a cliche, it's a classic

Nah, the Main Character doesn't have sentient, original thoughts, it can't be a classic. He's played a game and just continues to go "durr, surely if I just stand over here it will play out the same way it did in the game" when he's thrust into that world and already made countless massive changes to the plot. And every time it doesn't and things almost go real bad, he goes "cr*p, i'll have to learn not to expect to rely on my memories from the game... Oh look another major event from the game... durr surely if i just get out of the way it will work how it did in the game"... Do you remember the old stereotype of movies made of video games, where the movies were all bad because they were basing the plot and the characters on the plot/chars of the game, which didn't need to be good because they were just facilitating a gaming experience? Well this novel follows the plot and has the characters of a fictional video game, and somehow seems to suffer the same problem.

heres some i remember villain type novels that i remember may not meet your criteria though. - The Reincarnated Villain Makes The Heroines Tearfully Beg for Forgiveness ( cultavation novel in which its more like showing past memories and heroines break down afterwards) - A Depressed Kendo Player Possesses a B*st*rd Aristocrat ( a new one that was recently added on this site) - I Became The Villain The Hero Is Obsessed With ( this one is more wholesome without a harem although the main idea are superheros) - Fated to loved by villains ( a fun read very chaotic but excuted pretty well) - The main heroines are trying to kill me ( on the sadder side) - Despite Being Pursued As a Villain, All The Heroines On My Side? ( chinese novel, fun to read but inconsistent update+names are hard to remember) - I Became A Third-Rate Villain In The Hero Academy ( this one is more of a zero to hero story) - How to Survive at the Academy ( i've never read this one before) enjoy :0

It is the type of novel to read after finishing MIST, or Seven Live’s Tragedy. Good filler story after a mystery or tragedy to take a relaxing break. I recommend.
